Finding Support

When people have tinnitus, they often feel alone.  It is that loneliness that can lead to problems.  It is hard for someone to relate to others when they have to deal with the symptoms of tinnitus, and thus, they choose to hide away from the world.  That is incredibly dangerous, as that will lead to anti social behavior, depression and even greater anxiety.  Because of that, it is recommended that people with tinnitus reach out and join support groups and become a part of the community.  They can find support groups to join by visiting the American Tinnitus Association.
